Job Duties
- Delivers excellent customer service at all times and works as a team member to provide the most efficient service to guests
- Maintains a calm and professional demeanor during periods of high volume to promote a positive guest experience and stable working environment
- Proficiency in the Micros POS system to ring up orders and cash out guests
- Responsible for accurately entering cash and credit card transactions
- applying discounts, coupons and promotions appropriately
- Maintains appropriate sanitation levels in the work area in compliance with health department regulations
- Possesses knowledge of menus in retail operations and guides guest experience to sell products
- Assists with the delivery of online orders around the hospital campus
- Checks orders for accuracy and completes deliveries in a timely manner
- Assists with basic food preparation and possesses knowledge of food safety
- Completes side work including cleaning duties, food prep, stocking and assisting other areas as needed
- Works as a food handler during special events and satellite retail operations
- Maintains assigned retail area appealingly, ensuring product is merchandised, stocked, rotated and priced appropriately
- Scheduled as needed for this PRN position
