Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous café experience preferred
- Completion of food handling certification within first 90 days of employment
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Physical ability to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds
- Standing, walking, reaching, and bending throughout the shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment
- Ability to communicate in English, second language is a plus
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques, and use of equipment and machinery
- Previous café experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare beverages to customer specifications
- Make appropriate suggestions of food and beverages utilizing suggestive selling and up-selling techniques
- Offer customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment
- Maintain clean and organized workspace
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Follow store policy and procedures for operational flow at each station
- Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing products
- Follow cash handling procedures and cash register policies
- Contribute to store goals for increasing sales and improving profits
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management
