Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
- Ability of simple reading, writing, math, and task completion skills are required
- Meet requirements of regular attendance to effectively complete job responsibilities in a timely manner

- Previous barista experience preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties
- Welcomes guests by determining their coffee interests and needs
- Educate guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu, answering questions
- Sells coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines
- Demonstrates how brewing equipment operates
- Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as espresso lungo, caffe latte, and cappuccino
- Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply
- Stocking coffee brewing equipment
- Maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions
- Troubleshooting breakdowns
- Maintaining supplies
- Performing preventive maintenance
- Calling for repairs
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes
- Implements changes
- Maintains and improves the appearance of the store and coffee bar
- Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Operates the POS (Point of Sale) for half of shift, 4 hours minimally
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks
- Assists with monthly breakdown of store for deep cleaning
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
