Job Duties
- Carry out opening and closing tasks including organizing provisions and cleaning equipment
- organize, stock and maintain work areas
- enter customer orders into the MICROS system and process payments
- take orders, prepare food and coffee
- ensure appliances such as coffee machines are turned on and off at appropriate times
- clean tables and cart areas for coffee service
- maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day
- secure the cash register with needed change for anticipated transactions
- perform cash reconciliation and complete cashier reports at shift end
- follow all company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance
- protect company information confidentiality and assets
- support coworkers respectfully and with teamwork
- meet quality assurance standards
- move, lift, transport, push, pull and place objects under 25 pounds without assistance
- stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods
- visually inspect information and equipment for defects
- handle objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- reach overhead and below knees, bend, twist, lean and navigate tight or elevated spaces
- greet and acknowledge all guests per company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally including answering phone calls
- perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
