Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate in the English language
- Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment, machinery
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds
- Requires standing, walking, reaching and bending throughout shift
Job Qualifications
- Previous café experience preferred
- Ability to communicate in the English language
- Second language is a plus
- Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment, machinery
Job Duties
- Prepare beverages to customer specifications
- Make appropriate suggestion of food and beverages employing suggestive selling and up selling technique
- Offer customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment
- Maintain clean and organized workspace
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Follow store policy and procedures for operational flow at each station
- Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing products
- Follow cash handling procedures and cash register policies
- Contribute to store goals for increasing sales and improving profits
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management
