Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
- Ability to access all areas of the building for responding to guest or team member needs
- Basic math skills to handle cash register operations
- Capability to climb ladders and safely handle merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments
- Must be able to remain mobile during a shift
- Ability to comply with food safety and workplace safety standards
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted beverages and food quality and freshness management
- Follow state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs
- Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, inventory routines, cleaning, signing, and organizing reserve product
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process by fulfilling digital guest orders accurately and on time
- Maintain an inviting dining area and engage with guests to exceed Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications
- Follow all food safety requirements including monitoring temperature-sensitive items
- Complete and record cleaning tasks
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items according to best practices
- Place store-initiated orders and follow perishable inventory procedures
- Complete all required training and demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Work safely and comply with all safety policies and training
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick up while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Perform additional duties based on business needs
