Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, perform repetitive motions
- visual acuity including color vision and depth perception
- ability to perform physical activities required for the role
- successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
- adherence to company policies
- punctuality and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- ability to perform simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- clear communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
- smile and greet customers warmly
- make an effort to learn and use customers' names
- assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading/unloading heavy items, and passing along suggestions
- answer the telephone and take orders
- take customer orders at the counter
- work collaboratively with team members
- handle food safely and maintain a clean workspace
- review food freshness and maintain adequate supply
- prepare and replenish products as needed
- check in and put away product, review invoices
- operate department registers and handle payments
- remove trash timely
- adhere to hygiene and dress guidelines
- report to work on time
