Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- learn customers' names and address them by name whenever possible
- assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, recording customer suggestions or requests, and performing other tasks to enhance the shopping experience
- answer the telephone promptly and take customer orders
- take customer orders at the counter
- work as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- handle food safely and keep the work area clean and neat
- review food status and appearance for freshness
- ensure adequate food supply and follow production lists
- anticipate daily product needs
- prepare and replenish products
- check in and put away products, review invoices
- run registers and handle payment where applicable
- remove trash promptly
- maintain personal hygiene and dress according to company guidelines
- adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- report to work as scheduled and on time
