Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment
  • Treat customers and employees in a fair and ethical manner
  • Promote an inclusive work environment
  • Ensure timely provision of the right products with fair and accurate pricing
  • Demonstrate company core values including respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety
  • Prepare beverage selections to recipe and standards and tender transactions
  • Maintain knowledge of products and answer customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with associates to promote teamwork and achieve store goals
  • Offer product samples
  • Provide accurate product portions to prevent shrink
  • Use coffee shop equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, espresso machines, blenders, computerized scales and steamers according to guidelines
  • Label, stock and inventory department merchandise
  • Check product quality for freshness
  • Report product ordering and shipping discrepancies
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and safety procedures
  • Notify management of customer or employee accidents and safety risks
  • Practice preventive maintenance on equipment
