Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food and beverage or customer service preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays
- ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance
- must be able to follow company policies and procedures
- strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- must be able to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Prior food and beverage, coffee/barista, restaurant experience preferred

- meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
- engage with and understand customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication and requesting clarification when necessary
- prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
- available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
- ability to understand, read, write and speak English above a basic level

Job Duties
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, providing eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the coffee shop area
- anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation
- act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of the company
- maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard
- anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
- deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer
- follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all Team Members during each shift
- maintain a clean and organized workspace so that Team Members can locate resources and product as needed
- provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
- follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- maintain regular and punctual attendance
