Job Requirements
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
- Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be present
- Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements during job duties
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations
- Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing, and storing reserve product
- Be aware of current and future promotions within Starbucks
- Follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent experience for guests while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining food safety
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout shift
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards
- Follow all food safety requirements, including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items
- Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space
- Locate and identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process according to best practice
- Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders
- Follow proper perishable inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store
- Complete required training and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work safely at all times and comply with safety policies and training
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up while maintaining compliance with beverage laws
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests
- Engage with guests to solve their specific needs
- Thank guests for shopping at Target
- Perform all other duties based on business needs
