Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times
- determine customer needs and make product suggestions
- assist in hiring new associates
- coach and train new associates to Barista Certification
- ensure compliance with store and Price Chopper policies and procedures by self and Barista associates
- follow all health, safety, and food safety guidelines
- assist customers in product selection
- maintain customer service area and equipment cleanliness
- maintain neat and organized workstation according to 5S standards
- demonstrate positive customer service behavior
- prepare customer beverage orders to Price Chopper standards
- perform cleaning tasks according to schedule and standards
- follow merchandising standards, stocking, and rotation
- assure equipment maintenance
- handle cash and register procedures
- follow inventory control policies
- order products and supplies
- maintain accurate recordkeeping
- complete Initial Store Training and pass Barista certification
- perform other related duties as assigned
