Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interact and help others including guests and team members
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, highly active, and physically demanding role
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
- Ability to safely operate ladders and handle merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in cold temperatures down to -10F as needed
- Ability to work in environments where allergens may be present
- Ability to remain mobile throughout the shift
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant products during all hours of operation
- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, stock routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, organizing, and storing reserve product
- Support the Starbucks Drive-Up process ensuring digital orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications
- Follow all food safety requirements including temperature monitoring and recording
- Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items
- Maintain accurate inventory through placing store-initiated orders and following perishable inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices and complete required training and certifications
- Work in a safe manner complying with all safety policies and best practices
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-Up while maintaining compliance
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs
