Job Requirements
- Less than high school or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- visual acuity including color vision and depth perception
- compliance with hygiene and dress standards
- availability to report to work as scheduled
- willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- learn customers' names and address them by name
- assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, and noting customer suggestions
- answer the telephone promptly and take customer orders
- take customer orders at the counter
- work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- handle food safely and keep the work area clean and neat
- review food for freshness
- ensure an adequate food supply and follow production lists
- anticipate product needs daily
- prepare and replenish products
- check in product, put it away, and review invoices
- run registers and manage payments
- remove trash promptly
- maintain adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
- adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- report to work on time and as scheduled
- wash dishes as necessary
- order products and supplies
- price products
- assist in other store areas as needed
- perform other job-related duties and special projects as required
