Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum age of 16 years
- ability to deal with customers and coworkers in a tactful and respectful manner
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Job Qualifications
- Previous Barista experience preferred
- high school diploma or GED required
- possess excellent communication skills, both in written and oral form
- ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with guests, employees and supervisors
- ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills
- ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and calculate figures and amounts
- flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
- must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- dedicated to meeting and/or exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external clients
- trusted and seen as a truthful individual who is highly respectful of others

Job Duties
- Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs
- educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions
- sells coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines and demonstrating how brewing equipment operates
- prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as espresso, espresso lungo, caffe latte, and cappuccino
- maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply, stocking coffee brewing equipment, maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar
- keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs
- maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, implementing changes, maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar
- enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- operates the POS (Point of Sale) for half of shift, 4 hours minimally
- performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks
- assist with monthly breakdown of store for deep cleaning
