Job Requirements

Accurately handle cash register operations when needed
climb up and down ladders
scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds
availability for flexible work schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
reliable and prompt attendance
ability to work in environments ranging from 34F to -10F
ability to work in spaces with common allergens present
capable of exposure to varying temperatures and humidity
ability to remain mobile for the duration of the shift
legal eligibility to work in the applicable location

Job Qualifications

Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
capable of working independently and as part of a team
strong problem-solving skills to resolve guest questions quickly
attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
ability to remain composed and focused in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant food and beverage options during all hours of operation
uphold and maintain Food & Beverage standards
execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing
stay aware of current and future Starbucks promotions
follow Target and Starbucks routines to maintain consistency and food safety
support Starbucks Drive Up process for accurate and timely order fulfillment
maintain a clean and inviting dining area for guests
engage with guests to meet and exceed Starbucks standards
produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications
monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items as per safety guidelines
complete cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space
identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items
place store-initiated orders to ensure accurate in-stocks
execute sampling best practices
complete all required training and certifications related to quality control
demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance at all times
support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive Up while ensuring compliance with adult beverage laws
create a welcoming environment by greeting guests and providing assistance as needed
perform all other duties based on business needs
