Job Requirements
- Less than high school or equivalent experience
- six months or less of related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- ability to perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- availability to work night and weekend shifts
- adherence to hygiene and dress codes
- punctuality and reliability

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- make an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along customer suggestions
- answer telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service including taking orders
- take customer orders at the counter
- work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and pleasant work environment
- handle food in a safe manner and keep work area clean and neat
- review food status and appearance for freshness
- ensure adequate food supply is prepared and on hand
- anticipate product needs daily
- prepare and replenish product
- check in and put away product, review invoices
- operate department registers and handle payment
- remove trash timely
- maintain strict adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
- adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- report to work on schedule and on time
