- Ability to coach and train associates
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Understanding of food safety and health guidelines
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
- Determine customer needs and make product suggestions
- Sample and suggest products to customers
- Assist Food Service Manager in hiring and training new associates
- Coach and train new associates to Barista Certification
- Ensure Baristas follow store policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of customer service area and workstations
- Prepare customer beverage orders to standard
- Perform cleaning tasks as scheduled
- Follow merchandising, stocking, and product rotation standards
- Ensure equipment maintenance is performed as required
- Handle cash and follow register policies
- Manage inventory control and product ordering
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping according to procedures
- Complete training and achieve Barista certification with a 90% score or higher
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
