- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- ability to write identifying information
- ability to request supplies orally or in writing
- ability to perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- clarity of vision with or without correction
- ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them accordingly
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing items, loading/unloading heavy items and passing along suggestions
- answers the telephone and takes customer orders
- works with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- handles food safely and maintains a clean and neat work area
- reviews food freshness and supplies
- prepares and replenishes products
- checks in product and reviews invoices
- operates registers and handles payments where applicable
- removes trash timely
- adheres to personal hygiene, dress, and company policies
- reports to work timely
