Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts adhering to company time and attendance policies
- ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- ability to work with various Starbucks ingredients including coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils
- ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks
- ability to have constant contact and interaction with various levels of individuals daily
Job Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- food service or coffee experience a plus but not required
- ability to learn to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products
- ability to learn ingredients of various products
- ability to work with various Starbucks ingredients including coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils
- ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks
- ability to have constant contact and interaction with various levels of individuals daily
- ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts adhering to company time and attendance policies
Job Duties
- Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times
- take customer orders and ensure timely and satisfactory completion
- prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products, rotating items to maintain quality and safety
- maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues
- engage with customers by offering product information, suggestive selling, and sampling
- process cash register transactions using POS system
- provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently by adhering to recipe and presentation standards
- act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the culture, values, and mission of Food City and Starbucks
- consistently operate tools and equipment following routine and safety procedures
- follow company food safety program and food-handling procedures
- attend on-site work during scheduled shifts adhering to time and attendance policies
