  • One year of retail or related experience preferred
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers

Job Duties

  • Prepare coffee shop beverages
  • brew, mix and/or blend beverages according to set standards
  • Prepare food items according to procedures
  • Ensure food and beverages are handled safely and work environment is clean
  • Operate cash register and process payments, including cash, checks, credit cards, gift certificates, and coupons
  • Stock items and rotate coffee merchandise displays
  • Communicate company programs, in-store specials, and loyalty programs to customers
  • Maintain understanding of store programs and product locations
  • Notify department lead or manager for ordering products and supplies
  • Comply with company policies on security, cash handling, product handling, and safety
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked department following safety and sanitation standards
  • Follow PPE, safety, food safety, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
