Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to communicate effectively
- basic math skills
- must complete sanitation course before or during first year
- strong multitasking abilities
- willingness to work occasional nights and weekends
- ability to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
- ability to resolve conflicts and maintain team morale
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year
- knowledgeable in operating an efficient, cost-effective program
- ability to perform basic arithmetic

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes)
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies, procedures, and department requirements
- ensure food items are stored safely, organized, and hazard-free
- maintain serving schedules ensuring all items are served per menu specifications following company policies
- maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations
- maintain accurate inventory weekly
- prepare orders as needed for accurate production
- supervise and evaluate employees, counsel, promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- maintain maintenance logs on equipment
- complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective action as necessary
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend equipment replacement as needed
- multitask proficiently
- perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- maintain knowledge of daily catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service meetings with staff
- maintain communication with staff via various channels
- perform cashier duties if needed
- promote good public relations
