Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- At least 1 year of food service experience preferred
- Must be flexible and able to respond quickly to issues
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must obtain Food Handler's Card within 30 days of hire
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work irregular hours including events
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must follow all company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- At least 1-year previous food service experience desired
- Working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to define problems, propose and implement solutions
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Food Handler's Card or willing to obtain within 30 days
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Strong customer service orientation
- Energetic and self-disciplined with a passion for exceptional guest service
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to interact with all levels of customers and staff
Job Duties
- Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu for service
- Prepare a variety of foods including meat, seafood, poultry, vegetable, and cold food items
- Properly label and date food items for storage
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products to ensure smooth service
- Comply consistently with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- Use food preparation tools according to manufacturer instructions
- Close the kitchen correctly following the closing checklist
- Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Use safe and hygienic food handling practices
- Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked
- Record waste on spoilage sheets according to waste control guidelines
- Understand and maintain proper sanitation and food safety
- Abide by company policies and other duties as assigned by Executive Chef or Chef
