Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in events marketing or related roles
  • Proven track record of successful B2B event management in mid-market settings
  • Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple events simultaneously
  • Experience with budgeting and vendor negotiation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform strategy
  • Proficiency with marketing automation and event management software
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in events marketing with a focus on B2B mid-market audiences
  • Proven success in developing and executing event strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes including lead generation and revenue attribution
  • Ability to drive results in complex, cross-functional environments acting as a collaborative partner
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in event performance tracking and data-driven operational improvements
  • Experience managing a wide range of event types such as webinars, virtual summits, in-person conferences, field events, trade shows, and ABM events
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated collaborative mindset fostering partnerships to achieve customer-centric success
  • Deep understanding of mid-market business needs and challenges for businesses with $2.5M - $10M+ revenue
  • Familiarity with marketing and event technology platforms for automation and event management

Job Duties

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of mid-market events and programs throughout the year
  • Provide strategic oversight and coordinate mid-market-focused events including webinars, customer councils, sales field events, trade shows, ABM events, partner-led trade events, education events, and major company events
  • Define event goals, KPIs, and success metrics focusing on lead generation, pipeline, revenue attribution, attendance, customer satisfaction, and brand perception
  • Develop customer-centric content programming addressing mid-market audience needs
  • Design and optimize post-event nurture campaigns to maximize lead conversion and engagement
  • Manage event budgets and oversee vendor selection ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality
  • Champion experimentation with new event formats, technologies, and innovative approaches to enhance effectiveness
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Go-to-Market, sales, product, analytics, demand generation, creative, sales enablement, and event production teams
