Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or security is preferred
- basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- ability to stand and sit for long periods
- ability to walk and occasionally climb stairs
- ability to lift 30-50 pounds
- good hand-eye coordination for handling packages and using computer equipment
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and possible overtime
- must be able to respond to emergencies accurately and calmly
Job Qualifications
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- excellent customer service, communication and time management skills
- basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
- command of information system hardware/software is preferred
- good written and verbal communication skills
- strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms
- the ability to work extended/flexible hours, weekends, and attend board meetings
Job Duties
- provides exceptional customer service
- meets and greets residents
- checks guests and service providers in/out
- understands and reacts to emergency response and access control procedures
- monitors and operates electronic security control systems
- maintains daily logs, records, and forms accurately
- assists with general concierge services and performs administrative clerical, Word and Excel document work
- walks the building premises as directed for monitoring purposes
- monitors and controls access to the building
- resolves and follows up on all complaints/issues, escalating to supervisor if necessary
- helps maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property
- understands and completes all required forms
- may be assigned other duties by supervisor
