Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or security is preferred
  • basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • ability to stand and sit for long periods
  • ability to walk and occasionally climb stairs
  • ability to lift 30-50 pounds
  • good hand-eye coordination for handling packages and using computer equipment
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and possible overtime
  • must be able to respond to emergencies accurately and calmly

Job Qualifications

  • ability to manage multiple priorities
  • excellent customer service, communication and time management skills
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
  • command of information system hardware/software is preferred
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms
  • the ability to work extended/flexible hours, weekends, and attend board meetings

Job Duties

  • provides exceptional customer service
  • meets and greets residents
  • checks guests and service providers in/out
  • understands and reacts to emergency response and access control procedures
  • monitors and operates electronic security control systems
  • maintains daily logs, records, and forms accurately
  • assists with general concierge services and performs administrative clerical, Word and Excel document work
  • walks the building premises as directed for monitoring purposes
  • monitors and controls access to the building
  • resolves and follows up on all complaints/issues, escalating to supervisor if necessary
  • helps maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property
  • understands and completes all required forms
  • may be assigned other duties by supervisor
