Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant experience
- 0-3 years of related experience
- Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar software, Ticketmaster One and high-level use/knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles preferred
- Cooperative attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage one's time to meet important deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and solve problems with minimal supervision
- Capable of discerning and maintaining confidentiality of information
- Ability to organize, evaluate, and present information effectively in writing and verbally
- Nonprofit experience preferred

Job Duties
- Provides overall accounting for assigned subsidiary companies and partner organizations
- Completes accounting functions in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures
- Prepares, reviews and enters daily cash receipts and prepares invoices as needed
- Entering invoices within Beanworks, follow up with vendors, and ensure bills are being paid timely
- Enter payroll entry in accounting software for assigned subsidiary companies on a regular basis including allocation of all wages and taxes appropriate to each event
- Perform monthly close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- includes preparing and posting monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis and investigation, issue resolution and coordination with other team members within the MEMI finance team
- Prepares and files various Federal, State and Local government reporting and payment forms on a regular basis
- Ensures the work area is clean, secure and well maintained
- Maintains all corporate documentation, correspondence, insurance and financial files in an orderly systematic manner
- Support the mission, vision and values of the organization
- Other duties as assigned
