Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • strong work ethic and punctuality
  • valid food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience as a cook in a restaurant setting
  • knowledge of coastal European cuisine preferred
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • culinary school diploma or equivalent is a plus

Job Duties

  • prepare hot and cold food items according to standardized recipes
  • perform all standardized knife cuts accurately
  • manage assigned cooking station efficiently
  • multitask effectively while maintaining composure under pressure
  • communicate clearly with team members to ensure timely and accurate dish preparation
  • resolve cooking or station-related issues quickly and effectively
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
