Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks
- strong work ethic and punctuality
- valid food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain
Job Qualifications
- proven experience as a cook in a restaurant setting
- knowledge of coastal European cuisine preferred
- ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
- excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- culinary school diploma or equivalent is a plus
Job Duties
- prepare hot and cold food items according to standardized recipes
- perform all standardized knife cuts accurately
- manage assigned cooking station efficiently
- multitask effectively while maintaining composure under pressure
- communicate clearly with team members to ensure timely and accurate dish preparation
- resolve cooking or station-related issues quickly and effectively
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
