Job Requirements
- A.O.S. Degree or culinary certificate
- experience in culinary or kitchen management
- ability to supervise staff
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- proficiency in computer applications
- ServSafe certification preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to participate in patient satisfaction programs
Job Qualifications
- A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or culinary certificate
- some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- catering experience a plus
- high volume, complex foodservice operations experience
- institutional and batch cooking experience
- comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
- proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
- willingness to participate in patient satisfaction programs
Job Duties
- assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
- assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- produce and execute catering events
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- supervise hourly associates and assist with ordering
- develop daily menu items and their preparation and garnishment
- participate in patient satisfaction programs and activities
