Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in culinary arts or related kitchen management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to participate in patient satisfaction programs
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Ability to supervise kitchen staff and manage food cost controls
Job Qualifications
- A.O.S. degree in Culinary Arts or culinary certificate
- Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Catering experience
- Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
- Knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly kitchen associates
- Maintain food quality, sanitation, and safety standards
- Support patient satisfaction programs and activities
