  • Experience using event management and financial software is preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners

Job Duties

  • Oversees the planning and coordination of meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars, and special events
  • Maintains records of facility usage and manages revenue and expense reports
  • Schedules university facilities and manages space reservations including communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Creates and updates inventory and maintenance checklists related to event needs
  • Provides recommendations on vendors, venues, and catering services to support event objectives
  • Manages event logistics such as transportation, audiovisual equipment, signage, catering, parking, and volunteer coordination
  • Supervises registration and check-in processes using digital platforms and ensures smooth event operations
  • Tracks purchase orders, submits approvals, and monitors invoices using financial systems
  • Facilitates social media postings and interactions related to events
  • Assists with administrative duties including compiling reports and organizing documents
  • Supports logistics and execution for executive education and other university programs
  • Works flexible hours including evenings and weekends as necessary
