- Proficient in following instructions and managing multiple tasks
- Experience using event management and financial software is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners
Job Duties
- Oversees the planning and coordination of meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars, and special events
- Maintains records of facility usage and manages revenue and expense reports
- Schedules university facilities and manages space reservations including communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Creates and updates inventory and maintenance checklists related to event needs
- Provides recommendations on vendors, venues, and catering services to support event objectives
- Manages event logistics such as transportation, audiovisual equipment, signage, catering, parking, and volunteer coordination
- Supervises registration and check-in processes using digital platforms and ensures smooth event operations
- Tracks purchase orders, submits approvals, and monitors invoices using financial systems
- Facilitates social media postings and interactions related to events
- Assists with administrative duties including compiling reports and organizing documents
- Supports logistics and execution for executive education and other university programs
- Works flexible hours including evenings and weekends as necessary
