Job Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in project management or planning environment in heavy industrial or manufacturing industry, 7 years preferred
  • minimum of 5 years experience in a related technical field, 7 years preferred
  • intermediate knowledge of MS Office specifically Excel, databases and maintenance planning software
  • demonstrated ability to understand project layers, mapping and flow of a project within multiple project setting with rapidly changing priorities
  • strong understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance processes
  • A&P License preferred
  • associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

  • demonstrated ability to understand project layers, mapping and flow within multiple project settings
  • strong understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance processes
  • intermediate knowledge of MS Office including Excel, databases and maintenance planning software
  • ability to support and guide junior planners
  • excellent communication and analytical skills

Job Duties

  • Research and administer aircraft maintenance programs
  • determine tactical scope, activities and critical paths for aircraft maintenance tasks
  • assemble aircraft work packages efficiently including identification of technical documentation prior to scheduled induction
  • define flow charts and timelines by identifying time, resources and materials required
  • maintain and assist in development of aircraft model specific technical information such as airframe, engine, avionics, paint and interior
  • monitor maintenance progress ensuring adherence to plans
  • perform analytical reviews of historical data and prepare detailed reports
  • coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • address and resolve discrepancies during planning and execution phases
  • monitor aircraft work in progress for schedule adjustments and communicate impacts to stakeholders
  • act as point of contact for external customers addressing concerns and providing updates
  • support continuous improvement of maintenance planning processes
  • input data into required systems
  • develop new projects, establish new standards, and optimize processes
  • perform additional duties as assigned
