Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Certified Meeting Professional certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years event management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and mail merge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel up to 35% domestically and internationally
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during peak periods
- Valid passport for international travel
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Certified Meeting Professional certification preferred
- Over 5 years of event management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including mail merge, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent customer service and complaint resolution skills
- Proactive and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with teams
- Understanding of diversity, foreign cultures and customs
- Strong communication, presentation and writing skills
- Ability to manage budgets and forecast event margins
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Plan and execute in-person and digital events including registration management, event operations and on-site execution
- Communicate logistical details of events with internal departments
- Build and manage online registration websites with customized functionality
- Manage attendee registration and use multiple event systems
- Act as producer or co-producer of digital events to manage event flow and support technical needs
- Prepare and assemble event materials including badges and signage
- Provide on-site support and lead internal planning meetings
