Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience and/or training
- Experience in corporate or conference center management preferred
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred
- Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people
- Warm and engaging demeanor
- Ability to assess circumstances, empathize and offer help
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- Ability to solve problems involving several options
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills

Job Duties
- Lead complex master meeting and events calendar for medium to large sized event space
- Responsible for all communications and planning meetings with event staff
- Proactively plan logistics across the master calendar
- Manage each event as a project from planning through execution
- Create and lead detailed event planning timelines
- Participate or lead planning calls representing the site
- Ensure all event aspects comply with safety and security regulations
- Coordinate with internal partners and external vendors to meet client expectations
- Manage food and beverage including menu planning and client consultation
- Act as key contact for seamless event delivery by the operations team
- Capture post-event reporting and reconciliation
- Suggest recommendations for continuous improvement and cost/process efficiencies
- Provide informal guidance to junior team members
- Support budget creation and ensure budget adherence
- Request and review invoices timely
