Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and/or training
  • Experience in corporate or conference center management preferred
  • Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people
  • Warm and engaging demeanor
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills required
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in multiple software platforms and learn quickly
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible work schedules based on business need

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Directs advanced primary calendar for medium to large-scale gatherings and functions space
  • Handles each event as a project from planning through execution, crafting and leading detailed event planning timelines, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Participates and/or leads planning calls, ensuring event compliance with building safety and security regulations
  • Coordinates with internal partners and outside vendors to manage client expectations
  • Responsible for food and beverage management including menu planning and client collaboration
  • Acts as key contact to ensure seamless event delivery by the Meeting and Events operations team
  • Captures post-event reporting and reconciliation, suggesting recommendations for continuous improvement and cost/process efficiencies
  • Provides informal mentorship to junior team members
  • Supports budget creation for events and ensures adherence to budget, managing invoicing timely
