Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 to 8 years of relevant event management experience
- experience with staff coaching and development
- ability to handle sensitive and complex information communication
- leadership capabilities
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- strong organizational skills
- intermediate mathematics ability
- authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
- experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance measurement and retention preferred
- leadership skills to empower a team to meet operational targets
- in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook
- extensive organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality
- intermediate math skills for financial calculations
Job Duties
- Lead and develop a high-performing events team through coaching, organizational change, and continuous improvement
- foster a service-oriented culture prioritizing client happiness and seamless event execution
- guide creation and maintenance of a concierge-forward events management program
- oversee full lifecycle of corporate events managing logistics including security, facilities, catering, IT, and AV coordination
- ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and training including maintaining training records
- support Regional Lead by developing and implementing initiatives and cross-functional goals
- serve as liaison between clients, vendors, and stakeholders ensuring clear communication
- supervise, train, develop staff, conduct performance evaluations, and lead recruitment
- create and manage department budget and approve purchase orders
- implement process improvements for event success including reviewing efficiency reports and presenting to management
- ensure operations and vendors meet location requirements
- create and supervise department SLAs, KPIs, and benchmarks ensuring performance data and implementing solutions for gaps
