Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in store operations
  • Experience in organizational management, including handling multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Project management experience
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to lead through influence and resolve conflict
  • Knowledge of change management processes
  • Experience addressing complex issues across functions using data and analytics
  • Communication skills in both oral and written formats across all organizational levels, including upward communication
  • Organizational agility and flexibility
  • Ability to assess urgency and allocate resources appropriately based on priority

Job Duties

  • Execute strategic initiatives across regions by collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams to ensure all tasks and projects are meticulously planned, organized, and delivered with precision
  • Focus on activities that align with long-term business objectives such as scheduling optimization, facility cost reduction, and supply expense management for all store operations
  • Participate in decisions regarding investments, promotional and merchandising strategies, and project timing, ensuring comprehensive collaboration and oversight throughout rollouts
  • Coordinate and develop company programs in partnership with operations, merchandising, marketing, and other key stakeholders
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for various initiatives within designated areas of responsibility, actively contributing to investment decisions and project timelines, guaranteeing appropriate collaboration and supervision during implementation
  • Provide strategic direction for all service-related processes, programs, and technology, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Oversee store scheduling, service-related projects, activities, and deliverables
  • Manage all labor initiatives to support operational efficiency while driving sales growth, partnering with the Operations team to achieve labor targets through effective reporting, utilization of tools, and communication of best practices
  • Direct the Facility team by overseeing maintenance and repair activities for grocery store facilities and equipment, including defining project scope, soliciting bids, coordinating and supervising work, inspecting completed projects, and managing payments
  • Cultivate a culture that promotes teamwork and employee engagement, inspiring a commitment to customer service, supporting colleagues, and fostering competitive success
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that support the overall goals of the company
