Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five to ten years of related experience
  • Proven experience managing operational departments
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of up to 10 direct reports and over 150 indirect reports
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to adhere to company, government, and customer policies and regulations
  • Spanish speaking skills preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Five to ten years related experience and/or training
  • Experience in distribution and logistics management
  • Knowledge of P&L management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to manage large teams including direct and indirect reports
  • Spanish speaking skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Plans, schedules, and manages daily departmental work activities to meet or exceed KPIs
  • Oversees shipping, receiving, picking, packing, inventory, and value-added services activities
  • Manages rapid carton throughput processes including import deconsolidation and domestic consolidation
  • Supervises store delivery functions such as unloading, sorting, palletizing, and load out
  • Applies continuous improvement methods to enhance productivity and accuracy while ensuring a clean and safe work environment
  • Performs managerial functions including mentoring, coaching, conducting performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates
  • Ensures compliance with company, government, and customer policies and procedures
  • Implements and improves operational functions to achieve quality, productivity, safety, and loss prevention goals
  • Establishes productivity and quality control standards, develops budgets, and monitors adherence
  • Manages operating budgets including cost analysis, P&L accountability, and labor productivity
  • Collaborates with all levels of associates to enforce consistent procedures and best practices
