Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university highly preferred
  • 7-10 years experience in business strategy, project management, merchandising, or marketing
  • Ability to develop and maintain analytical frameworks, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools
  • Proven ability to translate complex data sets into actionable recommendations
  • Strong executive presence and influencing skills
  • Highly strategic while capable of detailed tactical execution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Skilled in business and financial acumen
  • Strong collaboration across departments and with field functions
  • Ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in retail, business, or related field highly preferred
  • 7-10 years experience in business strategy, project management, or relevant field experience
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, margin improvement, and market share expansion
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop dashboards, KPI tracking tools, and interpret complex datasets into actionable insights
  • Executive presence with abilities to influence across all levels including field and operations leadership
  • Highly strategic mindset with flexibility to plan long-term and delve into tactical details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong business and financial acumen to develop and execute well-thought-out strategies

Job Duties

  • Serve as subject matter expert and business owner for PetsHotel and Training
  • Oversee key initiatives focused on creating disproportionate sales growth
  • Manage PetsHotel and Training profit and loss, monitoring data and performance trends to improve the business
  • Identify innovation opportunities within the services marketplace and bring forth strategies to capitalize on them
  • Partner and collaborate with internal teams including operations, analytics, labor, marketing, and others
  • Drive the strategic vision of operations strategy for PetsHotel and Training, connecting business needs with operational excellence
  • Lead talent development efforts and enforce accountability within the organization
  • Maintain a broad vision ranging from high-level strategic planning to tactical marketing details
  • Engage in cross-department projects to innovate and adapt hotel and training businesses to meet evolving market demands in a timely manner
