Job Requirements
- Ability to work on-site in an open office environment in Los Angeles, CA
- Availability for variable work hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays especially during peak event periods
- Comfortable with extended computer, phone, and office equipment use

Job Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in character programming, live entertainment operations, or theme park logistics managing multiple performers or locations
- Proven success in managing large-scale scheduling grids and performer logistics
- Strong understanding of labor regulations, union requirements, and live event operational planning
- Experience working cross-functionally with creative, production, human resources, finance, and legal teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Operational hands-on execution expertise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and interface professionally across all organizational levels
- Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Job Duties
- Develop and implement scalable processes and tools for mascot operations from concept to execution including appearance policies and procedures
- Manage appearance request program for internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee costume production, maintenance, and logistics including cleaning, repairs, and assignment
- Lead scheduling and location planning for multiple mascot performers and handlers across venues
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on recruitment, onboarding, and training of mascot performers and support staff
- Build and manage appearance timelines, transportation logistics, dressing room setups, and food and beverage coordination
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and union regulations while identifying and mitigating operational constraints
- Ensure mascot appearances align with LA28 brand guidelines and intellectual property standards
- Manage mascot-related assets including tracking, distribution, and usage approvals
- Serve as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding mascot programming
- Identify and mitigate risks related to performer safety, environmental conditions, and venue logistics
- Partner with teams to develop mascot emergency response plans
