Job Requirements
- Dispatcher license required
- Five years of commercial air carrier dispatcher experience
- Three to five years of supervisory experience or equivalent
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Leadership and team building skills
- Ability to teach and mentor team members
- Prior union negotiation and work experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- Dispatcher license required
- Minimum 5 years in commercial air carrier operation as a dispatcher
- 3 to 5 years supervisory experience or equivalent
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
- Ability to train less skilled professionals
- Prior union negotiation and work experience preferred
- Proficiency with SABRE/Jeppesen, Flight Explorer, and AeroData software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interact with multiple departments and airport personnel
Job Duties
- Supervise, schedule, and train Frontier Airlines Aircraft Dispatchers Managers
- Manage Dispatcher workflow to ensure flights are checked, monitored, and analyzed for weather conditions
- Ensure Dispatchers comply with FAA and Company regulations
- Provide Pilots with meteorological information affecting flight safety
- Recruit, train, and motivate Dispatchers and Load Planners for maximum efficiency
- Maintain dispatcher and load planner training records
- Develop and maintain departmental manuals and training programs
- Administer Safety Management System and perform hazard and risk assessments
- Provide reports to Senior Director and VP of Flight Operations
- Manage dispatch/load planning schedules, budgeting, and payroll
- Liaise with FAA and external providers
- Research and implement operational improvements
- Perform Dispatcher duties as needed
- Ensure appropriate work environment and facilities for Dispatch operations
