Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in international trade, accounting, or related discipline
  • US Customs Broker's License in good standing
  • Ten or more years of professional experience in customs and trade compliance
  • Five or more years in trade compliance management
  • Experience with automotive or complex manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of USMCA, customs valuation, and trade regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and customs management software
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Franklin, TN

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline
  • US Customs Broker's License in good standing
  • Ten or more years of related professional experience
  • At least five years in trade compliance management in automotive or complex manufacturing
  • Extensive knowledge of customs valuation and free trade agreements
  • Experience with RVC and LVC calculations
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and customs-related systems like ACE and ABI
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Develops and manages trade and content-related regulatory compliance programs for FTAs and tariff programs
  • Calculates duty by model and tariff forecasts for production vehicles and parts
  • Leads cross-functional governance reviews for USMCA compliance across departments
  • Develops strategies for implementation and compliance of USMCA and other FTAs
  • Interfaces with departments to analyze sourcing decisions and country of origin impact
  • Reviews and submits required documentation to government agencies including US CBP and Canada CBSA
  • Manages internal reviews, external audits, and relationships with external service providers
