Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years customer facing experience in food service, hospitality or retail industries
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- Flexibility to work at all UCSF Medical Center locations
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job

- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of customer facing experience within the food service, hospitality or retail industries
- Ability to read, write, follow written or oral instructions and be understood in English
- Basic computer skills
- Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations
- Ability to meet physical demands involved with job duties
- Two years of college or equivalent preferred
- State of California Food Handler certification or Servsafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Provide food service that is safe, accurate, timely and responsive to customer and patient needs
- Clean and sanitize food service areas and equipment in a safe manner
- Perform detailed cleaning of kitchen equipment
- Conduct thorough floor and floormat cleaning
- Sort and remove waste efficiently
- Carry out dishroom and potroom duties
- Maintain excellent customer, patient, and staff interactions as an ambassador of Nutrition and Food Services
