Job Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years of customer facing experience within the food service, hospitality or retail industries
  • ability to read, write, follow written or oral instructions and be understood in English
  • basic computer skills
  • flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations
  • ability to meet physical demands involved with job duties
  • high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • stocking and serving portion controlled hot and cold food
  • replenishing stations
  • restocking work stations
  • assembly of patient trays
  • delivery and collection of patient trays
  • maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and equipment
  • providing excellent patient and nursing interactions
