Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in events or hospitality industry
- Demonstrated experience working independently and with a team
- Proven ability to successfully engage with high level internal and external partners
- Experience providing deliverables and executing events management on time against deadlines
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools such as Workfront
- Previous use of events management software such as Exhibit Force and Rainfocus
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
- Bachelor's in Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in events or hospitality industry
- Proven ability to engage successfully with high level internal and external partners
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools such as Workfront
- Experience with event management software such as Exhibit Force and Rainfocus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
- CMP, PMP, or other relevant certifications (recommended)
Job Duties
- Communicate and collaborate with senior-level colleagues and external stakeholders to influence decision making and lead successful marketing events
- Act as primary liaison between Esri and various vendors
- Manage multiple large-scale events throughout the year ensuring seamless execution from start to finish
- Mentor new team members on events management best practices
- Track and manage all event details including budget, communications, food and beverage, audio-visual, internet, security, and electrical requirements
- Identify and address errors and devise solutions based on limited information and precedent
- Adapt and problem solve by navigating complex challenges and determining appropriate courses of action
- Embrace evolving event execution processes and suggest variations in approach
- Proactively leverage strategic event and project planning skills to guide projects to success
- Lead onsite food and beverage requirements and standards
- Analyze industry trends to recommend innovative strategies and ideas
- Influence change to improve processes and elevate the attendee experience
- Advise junior team members and drive business forward
