Job Requirements

  • 2-3 plus years of relevant event technology experience
  • bachelor’s degree preferred
  • experience coordinating projects or events successfully
  • proficiency with event technology platforms like Rainfocus, Stova, Swoogo, Bizzabo, Cvent, Eventbase, Airtable
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • ability to meet deadlines
  • willingness to travel 20 percent domestically and internationally
  • ability to lead small teams
  • strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • capacity to work independently
  • experience with onsite event operations
  • valid passport for international travel

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 plus years of experience in relevant role with corporate event technology tools such as Rainfocus, Stova, Swoogo, Bizzabo, Cvent, Eventbase, Airtable
  • proven project or event coordination experience from concept to execution
  • bachelor’s degree preferred
  • strong critical thinking, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • skilled at multi-project prioritization in fast-paced environments
  • adaptable to last-minute changes
  • excellent documentation skills
  • collaborative work style
  • self-motivated and resourceful
  • experience with Microsoft, Google, Slack, Zoom, Monday.com
  • solid math skills for event data analysis
  • ability to interpret varied instructions and solve non-standard problems

Job Duties

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of attendee-facing event technology projects including registration, session scanning, and customer service
  • work as lead on small-to-medium sized events and in support roles on large programs
  • understand all workstreams supported by Opus Event Technology & Registration and effectively partner with those team members on projects
  • independently manage assigned tasks on multiple concurrent projects
  • act as primary point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors for event technology and registration workstreams
  • demonstrate proficiency in digital platforms and tools, provide client consultation on configuration
  • develop and drive workback schedules
  • manage documentation and content translating business objectives into technical specifications
  • participate actively in team and client meetings and document outcomes
  • proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • deliver projects within budget and deadlines
  • oversee standard onsite deployments including badge pick-up, session scanning, and other event technology workstreams
  • participate in process and resource improvements
