Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3 plus years of experience in event management
  • Skilled in project management
  • Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
  • Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Cvent Event Management software is a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat is advantageous
  • Skills in web design, HTML, CSS, Premiere, and Flash are a plus

Job Duties

  • Plans and facilitates logistics for large-scale events including venue research and contract negotiations
  • Creates and implements best practice checklists and kits for scalable event execution
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive pre-event, at-event, and post-event strategies
  • Maintains the event calendar to ensure visibility of managed events
  • Advocates for best-in-class attendee experience and guides employee-owners on event best practices
  • Facilitates internal and customer-facing event communications
  • Partners with marketing on lead capture for customer events
  • Ensures consistent brand experience at events including promotion and on-site presence
  • Maintains and tracks event assets such as displays and banners
  • Builds and nurtures relationships with vendors, venues, and industry contacts
  • Keeps current with trends in event planning, design, and production
