Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of event planning or event sales experience preferably in corporate or educational setting
  • 5+ years of professional experience in fast-paced work environment
  • bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • willingness and ability to travel overnight and weekends as needed
  • ability to sit for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • dexterity to operate computer and office equipment
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively and adapt in fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of event planning or event sales experience in corporate or educational settings
  • 5+ years of professional experience in fast-paced work environment
  • certified meeting professional (CMP) preferred
  • strong event management expertise including logistics, budgeting, and marketing strategies
  • analytical mindset with experience in post-event reporting and ROI measurement
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • highly organized and detail-oriented
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to collaborate across functions
  • advanced proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Cvent
  • basic understanding of LEAN Office Management principles

Job Duties

  • Lead end-to-end event planning for assigned sales regions
  • support logistics of large-scale national events
  • oversee venue selection, contract negotiation, AV setup, food and beverage arrangements, and speaker coordination
  • maintain compliance with continuing education accreditation standards
  • manage vendor and faculty relationships
  • conduct post-event evaluations and track performance metrics
  • develop and present detailed reports
  • utilize CRM and event management platforms
  • mentor and support junior team members
  • collaborate with sales, marketing, and senior leadership
  • serve as key contact for stakeholders
  • identify efficiency improvements
  • take ownership of special projects
