Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Five to seven years of foodservice operational management experience
- Knowledge of inventory and purchasing control
- Understanding of food and catering trends
- P&L accountability experience preferred
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications
- ServSafe certification
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology, Management or related field preferred
- Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
- Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable
- Strong supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and email
- ServSafe certified
Job Duties
- Develop and implement overall operating strategy that aligns with Compass Community Living and client business strategy
- Take full ownership of business outcomes and hold on-site leadership accountable for service behaviors
- Evaluate personnel, operations, and culinary situations and make appropriate recommendations
- Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and standards
- Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
- Lead pre-meal briefings and staff meetings to ensure ongoing communication
- Advise executives, supervisors, and team members on relevant information in a timely manner
