Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum ten years of experience in fundraising, corporate sales, conference events or sports management
- At least five years of experience in a director-level or higher role
- Ability to travel more than 25 percent including overnight stays
- Residency in Lawrence, Kansas
- Experience in non-profit or membership-driven association valued but not required
- Knowledge or interest in golf industry preferred
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication or related field or equivalent experience
- MBA a plus
- Minimum ten years of experience in fundraising, corporate sales, conference events or sports management
- At least five years of experience at director level or higher
- Experience in non-profit or membership-driven association valued but not required
- Knowledge of golf course management or interest in the golf industry preferred
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Lead GCSAA Foundation fundraising efforts to support advocacy, education and research
- Drive corporate sales revenue growth through industry partnerships
- Plan and execute the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show and other association events
- Manage a multidisciplinary team and foster cross-department collaboration
- Build and maintain external relationships with donors, prospects and industry partners
- Implement new ideas to improve project quality and success
- Provide constructive feedback and lead team development
