Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s level degree
  • registered or registration eligible dietitian licensed in the state of Ohio
  • minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
  • previous culinary or food service experience
  • valid state of Ohio driver’s license

Job Duties

  • deliver culinary education to cancer patients, survivors, families, or caregivers in instructional and mobile kitchens
  • provide nutritional care including screening, assessment, care plan development, intervention, counseling, and diet education
  • collaborate, plan, develop, coordinate and deliver custom food and nutrition education programs for patients, community, and related groups
  • ensure appropriate food production methods for intended audience
  • display and transport food using proper food handling and sanitation techniques in accordance with HACCP standards and local rules
  • integrate functions within department systems including staffing, food purchasing, and billing
  • coordinate and maintain schedules for mobile education and demonstration kitchens
  • drive and set up for mobile kitchen events
  • coordinate development or creation of marketing and promotion materials as needed
